Eller Howe is a spacous and well positioned holiday home ideally situated midway between Windermere town and the picturesque village of Bowness-on-Windermere, within easy walking distance of local shops and many excellent bars and restaurants. Bowness and Lake Windermere are only minutes away offering magnificant views of the Lake and surrounding fells with regular Lake Cruises to Newby Bridge and Ambleside, rowing boats for hire and a car and passenger ferry to gain access to the other side of the Lake, more beautiful fells and Coniston Water.
There are many easy walks for the whole family to the local beauty spots as well as the popular Beatrix Potter Museum in Bowness itself. For the more adventurous there are numerous possibilities for walking, climbing and cycling in the surrounding area.

Details about the interior
An enclosed wooden porch provides usefull hanging space for coats and room for shoes and boots with a shelf/sitting area for easy removal of outdoor shoes.The front lounge is cosy and comfortable with a period Victorian fire place, a 42" plazma tv with free-sat and DVD player, and a modern, corner seating arrangement with ample space for 6 persons. Beyond the lounge is a separate dining room with a large modern extending dining table which will easily seat 6 or more persons with plenty of room for a high chair or guests.The spacious, well equipped, galley kitchen is also on the ground floor with generous worktop space including beakfast bar for two persons and with many appliances to make life so much easier, including large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and separate drier.On the first floor is a family bathroom with state of the art two seater jacuzzi bath with over head shower.There is also a single bedroom on this floor as well as a large double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a large shower and with plenty of room for a travel cot which will be provided on request.On the second floor is another single bedroom which has lovely views towards the surrounding fells and another large double bedroom which could also accomodate a cot if required.
Details about the exterior
At the front of the property is a small sandstone flagged patio/garden area with a garden seat for up to 3 persons. There is also a rear patio/garden area with large round wooden table and chairs to seat up to six persons for outdoor dining and an upper patio with a barbeque/sunbathing area and a retractable sun cover for hot summer days. There is also a lockable outhouse/shed here for storing bicycles which can be accessed from the back of the house.Both front and back patio/garden areas are enclosed and have gates for the added safety of small guests.Unrestricted parking is available on the road at the front of the property.
